EDUCATION

In Sub-Saharan Africa, boys earn more on the labour market, and a girl’s future is still seen as her ability to marry well. A girls likelihood of attending and staying in school depends in large part on:

COMPUTERISATION GIVING KENYAN CHILDREN A CHANCE

None of the 23,000 children in the areas reached by NWI has ever seen the Internet or has an email account. The vast majority have never turned on a light switch. Schools and clinics need computer access and for this we need your old laptops. We take your unwanted laptops, refurbish them and then find them a good home. In areas where there is no electricity, we can provide small solar power packs for recharging. We will then connect you with the school or clinic that is using your computer and keep you up to date online.

We gave 4 areas laptops and tablets in 2014.
